A useful heater quotation is an engineering response, not only a price. The fastest way to obtain an accurate proposal is to describe the process duty and installation constraints clearly. Start with the medium: name, composition, concentration, density, specific heat, viscosity, contaminants, and any tendency to corrode, scale, coke, polymerize, or decompose.
Next provide thermal data. For batch heating, state volume or mass, initial and target temperatures, desired heat-up time, operating schedule, tank dimensions, material, and insulation. For continuous heating, provide minimum, normal, and maximum flow, inlet and outlet temperatures, pressure, and allowable pressure drop. If some data are unknown, share pump capacity, pipe size, fan rating, or the nameplate of an existing unit.
Electrical and site information includes voltage, phase, frequency, available capacity, preferred control method, ambient temperature, indoor or outdoor location, hazardous-area classification, and required certificates or standards. Mechanical information includes drawings, flange standard and rating, nozzle size, insertion length, duct dimensions, mounting orientation, terminal direction, and service clearance.
Finally, describe the supply scope: heater only, sensors, control panel, power controller, mating flange, vessel, spare parts, inspection documents, and delivery requirements. Runkel’s engineering team can then propose a customized configuration and identify any missing information that must be confirmed before manufacture.
Photographs and drawings can save considerable time, especially for replacements or retrofits. Include overall dimensions, nozzle orientation, flange drilling, available removal distance, cable entry direction, and nearby obstructions. If a sample is supplied, identify whether it represents the exact required design or only the installation interface, because an old heater may have failed due to an unsuitable original specification.
The commercial inquiry should also state quantity, requested delivery date, destination, packaging needs, documentation, inspection points, and whether commissioning support is required. Runkel can then separate confirmed requirements from assumptions and list the remaining technical questions clearly. This reduces quotation revisions and gives both parties a more reliable basis for order confirmation.
Discuss your application with Runkel. Send the medium or gas composition, flow or volume, inlet and target temperatures, pressure, voltage, installation dimensions, control requirements, and hazardous-area information to info@runkel.cn, or visit www.runkel.cn.
