Uniform airflow is essential because the resistance elements are cooled by the load-bank fan. If the air profile is uneven, elements in a low-flow region may operate at a higher temperature even when total airflow appears sufficient. Element banks, support frames, inlet screens, fan position, and discharge restrictions should therefore be evaluated as one thermal system.

For repeat orders, controlled drawings and resistance records help maintain interchangeability. Customers can specify identification marks, terminal orientation, mounting details, inspection requirements, and batch documentation.
